Business Rates

Current business rates are $95 and hour with a one hour minimum for on-site service. After the first hour, we bill at $25 for each additional 15 mins.

Note: A $15 or $25 trip charge may apply for areas outside the Oak Island area.

 

Policies

We understand the difficulties of taking time out of your busy day to schedule a technician and your business is appreciated. However, in order to maintain a fair fee structure to all customers and do our best to meet customer’s diverse time schedules we must enforce the following policies:

Cancellation Policy

 

  • In order to provide the best service possible and maintain a fair fee structure, we must enforce a strict cancellation policy. If you cancel with at least 24 hrs. notice you will not be charged a fee. However, if you cancel between 4 hrs. and 24 hrs. from the scheduled time of the appointment you will be charged a fee of $49. If you cancel within 4 hrs. or our technician shows up and no one is there, you will be charged our full 1-hour min. charge of $95.
  • If you reschedule your appointment we will reduce the cancellation fee to $49. The rescheduled appointment is subject to the same minimum service charges and cancellation policy as the first appointment.
  • You may call us in the evening or on Sat. or Sun. to cancel or change your appointment per the guidelines listed above.

 

Note: Please understand that our on-site service is an on-demand business. As such, if we are not notified in a timely manner of cancellation, we risk losing business due to an inability to meet our customers schedules.

On-time Policy

Due to the nature of the on-site service business, it is sometimes next to impossible to meet each customer’s scheduled appointment time. We have enacted the following policy to try and address this issue to the best of our abilities.

  1. Please allow our technicians a 60 min. ‘arrival window’ before calling to see if they are late. If your appointment is at 3:00pm, we will do our best to be there between 3:00pm and 4:00pm.
  2. If the technician is running late and will arrive outside the scheduled appointment window, a Techson Computers representative will call to either move the scheduled appointment time to a later time that same day or give you the option to reschedule on a different day with no cancellation fee.
  3. We understand that your time is valuable as well. If we must reschedule the appointment to another day, we will issue a credit of $10 to be used on the rescheduled appointment.
