Techson Computers is based in Oak Island, NC, and serve the surrounding communities ( South port, Bald Head Island, Boiling Springs, St James, South Harbor, Bolivia, Lockwood Folly, and Supply NC ).


We believe in fair pricing for outstanding service, and we have priced our services accordingly. When you compare our expertise with our prices, you will see how reasonable they are.

Effective November 1st, 2011 – $89 for the 1st hour of on-site service, $45 for each additional 30 mins. after the 1st hour. One hour minimum $89 service call.

We also offer package prices for our most-popular on-site services, as described below. Note: A  trip charge may apply for areas outside the Oak Island area. Call For Details.



We understand the difficulties of taking time out of your busy day to schedule a technician and your business is appreciated. However, in order to maintain a fair fee structure to all customers and do our best to meet customer’s diverse time schedules we must enforce the following policies:

Cancellation Policy

In order to provide the best service possible and maintain a fair fee structure, we must enforce a strict cancellation policy. If you cancel with at least 24 hrs. notice you will not be charged a fee. However, if you cancel between 4 hrs. and 24 hrs. from the scheduled time of the appointment you will be charged a fee of $49. If you cancel within 4 hrs. or our technician shows up and no one is there, you will be charged our full 1-hour min. charge of $89.

If you reschedule your appointment. we will reduce the cancellation fee to $49. The rescheduled appointment. is subject to the same minimum service charges and cancellation policy as the first appointment.

You may call us in the evening or on Sat. or Sun. to cancel or change your appointment. per the guidelines listed above. Note: Please understand that our on-site service is an on-demand business. As such, if we are not notified in a timely manner of cancellation, we risk losing business due to an inability to meet our customers schedules.

On-time Policy

Due to the nature of the on-site service business, it is sometimes next to impossible to meet each customer’s scheduled appointment time. We have enacted the following policy to try and address this issue to the best of our abilities.

  1. Please allow our technicians a 60 min. ‘arrival window’ before calling to see if they are late. If your appointment. is at 3:00pm, we will do our best to be there between 3:00pm and 4:00pm.
  2. If the technician is running late and will arrive outside the scheduled appointment window, a Techson Computers representative will call to either move the scheduled appointment time to a later time that same day or give you the option to reschedule on a different day with no cancellation fee.
  3. We understand that your time is valuable as well. If we must reschedule the appointment to another day, we will issue a credit of $10 to be used on the rescheduled appointment.


Not all services can be done at the home. Data Recovery and Laptop (hardware) Repair is best done at our shop. Give us a call and we can advise which option makes the best sense in your situation.
